The group aims to inform and educate the public about endangered species and actions taken by many animals and earth protection associations. This is a group of exchange about animals and environment informations where are only shown threatened species listed by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

Below you'll find few rules that will allow you to actively help the animal world.
Thank you for joining us in our fight!

First of all, the group is intended for endangered animals, but it's not only limited to its gallery, and it extends its activity by the communication between members of informations (from sure and official sources only). Here are some rules to follow in the two sectors of the group:


Gallery

~ Types of accepted deviations are limited to photos, photomanipulations and drawings. No history, no fan art nor other types of art will be tolerated.

~ Being just created, the group has, for the moment, no limit to the number of deviations per day, however, every deviation will be submitted to founders decision. The limit of deviation could changed if we receive too many deviations.

For this, we advise you to limit your deviations by posting your best works only: that's mean the most successful, but also those who have an interest. Only deviations bringing the Latin name of the species will be accepted. We also encourage the disclosure of information or causes about the animal (RSPCA/PETA, animal cruelty, saving species, petitions ...).

Therefore we don't recommend posting a photography or a drawing which has a poor quality, both aesthetically and graphically. Also, NO pets are accepted on main folders, but we create a special folder for them. We won't tolerated ANY signs of violence to an animal, any died animal, in poor health or beaten EXCEPT in the Domestic Animals folder, if you denounce something with a petitions/associations link. This folder is also open for sad work against abandonment but BEWARE, it's open only to drawing. Try to not shock everyone and to be subtile. The only "violence" that will be tolerated in other folders is the one in a fight between individuals for example, and here again, in a naturally way and not in a lucrative way created by man, only a fight for territory or a question of hierarchy in species.
Our galleries aim is to highlight the lost beauty, not the current violence. Any abuse, misuse, species destruction and other will be approached in written form with blogs, informations and reviews.

~ To post, please choose the correct folder for the animal you photographed. To do this, you can quickly find on the internet the status of the IUCN species (for example on the official site of the red list). There are only a few species which have a lack of information or don't have any of it to be added in the IUCN list, but the two folders concerned are listed in our galleries too. BEWARE, we'll verify the accuracy of this information for each deviation. So don't try to put the brown bear in extinct species in hope to have more public!

~ Always in the gallery, we also included the list of "Least Concern", but to minimize this issue, we only accept unknowned animals to the general public as the Little Egret, the Okapi or the long-eared sunfish. This rule doesn't apply to "Data Deficient" and "Not Evaluated" folders.


Newspapers and other

~ Since our group is not only visual, we require that members be active in the group, either by simple comments fairly regular, informations to give us to expand our monthly blog, associations or petitions to share with the community.

For that, it goes without saying that members must be active and aware of environmental news by following all valuable informations, from simple reports to activism action! Feel free to join one or more associations that seem right or grow your mind with documentaries, we are open to any exchange!


Affiliates

We reject all requests for partnerships and affiliations as long as it is not an active group of animal rights. We are not here to promote the art of other groups but to help the animal cause.


~ Finally, the choice of the animal used for our icon and our banner is also an exchange. After consulting between ourselves, we find that the Amur Leopard was the beauty, wildlife and lack of Human knowledge for all endangered species, because this species is represented by only some forty individuals in the wild! The banner also results from the first participation of our first member ~hatleopard with his picture on which *Nakouwolf made ​​a montage of a Leopard spitting all the pain suffered by all the extinct animals, endangered or suffering from cruelty hominids.


Thus, our group look at share our passion for the animal world, sharing your favorite photos and perpetuating the memory of these endangered species, but mainly to defend their cause by actively participating in our monthly newspaper which will explain you what to do to change the situation, through petitions, demonstrations and more. It is up to us to fight for what is really important!

Seules les deviations apportant le nom latin de l'espèce seront acceptées. Nous invitons également à la divulgation d'informations sur l'animal ou bien parlant d'une cause à son sujet (SPA, cruauté animale, sauvegarde d'espèce, pétition...).

C'est pourquoi nous vous déconseillons de poster une photo ou un dessin dont la qualité laisse à désirer, tant graphiquement qu'esthétiquement. Aussi, AUCUN animal domestique n'est accepté dans les principaux dossiers, mais nous avons créé un dossier spécial pour eux. Il n'est d'ailleurs toléré AUCUN signe de violence envers un animal, aucun animal mort, en mauvais état de santé ou battu SAUF dans le dossier des Animaux Domestiques, si vous dénoncez quelque chose avec un lien vers une pétition/association. Ce dossier est également ouvert pour les travaux tristes contre l'abandon mais ATTENTION, il est uniquement ouvert au dessins. La seule "violence" tolérée dans les autres catégories sera celle de combat entre individus par exemple, et là encore, de manière naturelle et non à but lucratif et engendré par l'homme, uniquement un combat pour un territoire ou pour une question de hiérarchie dans l'espèce.
L'objectif des galeries est de mettre en avant les beautés perdues, et non les violences actuelles. Toute maltraitance, abus, destruction d'espèce ou autre ne sera abordé que de manière écrite sous forme de blogs, informations et commentaires.

~Pour poster, nous vous prions de bien choisir le dossier qui concerne l'animal que vous avez pris en photo. Pour cela, vous pouvez très rapidement trouver sur internet le statut IUCN de l'espèce (par exemple sur le site officiel de la liste rouge). Seules quelques espèces manquent d'information ou n'en ont aucune pour être statuées dans la liste de l'IUCN, mais les deux dossiers concernés figurent dans la liste de nos galeries. ATTENTION cependant, nous vérifions l'exactitude de cette information pour chaque deviation. N'essayez donc pas de mettre l'ours brun en espèce disparue pour espérer avoir plus de public!

~Toujours dans la galerie, nous avons également inscrit la liste "Préoccupation mineure", mais afin de limiter ces dossiers, nous n'acceptons que les animaux méconnus du grand public comme l'Aigrette garzette, l'Okapi ou le crapet à longues oreilles. Cette règle NE s'applique PAS pour les dossiers "Données Insuffisantes" et "Non-évaluée".


Journaux et autres:

~Etant donné que notre groupe ne se contente pas du visuel, nous requérions que les membres soient actifs au sein du groupe, que ce soit par de simples commentaires assez réguliers, des informations à nous donner afin d'étoffer notre blog mensuel, des associations ou des pétitions à faire partager à la communauté.

Pour cela, il va de soit que les membres soient un minimum actifs et au courant de l'actualité écologique en suivant toutes informations valables, allant du simple reportage à l'action militante! N'hésitez pas à rejoindre une ou plusieurs associations qui vous semblent justes ou vous cultiver devant des documentaires, nous sommes ouverts à tout échange!
